Our dedicated team of delivery experts across the United States are committed to making your shipping requirements more efficient and secure so you can enjoy your Maker&Son furniture sooner. Our customers trust us to ship their sofa, armchair, bed or even a single cushion across the country quickly, smoothly and in the safest way.
We offer a premium service and provide you with the most dedicated experience for shipping your valuable goods. Your new furniture will be unwrapped and expertly assembled in the room of your choice. Our delivery team will even take the packaging away with them for recycling when we leave. Please contact our friendly team via email: newenquiries@us.makerandson.com for an accurate delivery fee.
Care Guide
Designed for low-maintence, most of our loose covers are also machine-washable and regular cleaning with a soft brush, or even a light vacuum, will keep them looking fresh. For more serious stains, and delicate fabrics like velvet, please consult a professional upholstery cleaning service.
The arms of your sofa aren’t designed to carry an adult’s body weight, so please aviod sitting on them. Further, avoid sitting on the edge of your seat as it can weaken the front edge of the spring unit. Be careful with sharp objects like belt buckles, toys or rings that can tear your fabric.
Be aware that sunlight can fade the colour of your furniture’s fabric. Keeping your sofa against a radiator may also have the same effect, so allow for a bit of space between them. It’s important to move your cushions around and plump them to ensure their shape and volume is maintained.
Every fabric in our collection has its own unique qualities and composition. Please refer to the label sewn onto your covers, or to specific fabric care guidelines. You will also find information about our fabrics on our website.
Our 100% Linen, Brushed Cotton and Corduroy covers are all machine washable. Our Velvets are dry clean/professional clean only. When it comes to cleaning your covers, please clean all of the covers at the same time; this will avoid any colour variation if cleaned separately.
Our Song Range
Our original and much-loved Song range features our classic Pillow Edge and provides a laid-back look ready for jumping onto or sinking into. The furniture industry may call it an ‘Oxford’ border, but we’ve always felt that ‘pillow’ just suits the look better since it’s unmistakably the same feeling as getting into bed in your living room. Now, we’ve added a Short Pillow Edge to the range – paring back to just under 2cm – allowing a slightly more tucked-up look.
Both the Pillow and Short Pillow Edges are styles that are uniquely Song and the look that launched a thousand jumps. Thanks to our easily removable and washable base and cushion covers, you can completely change the look and feel of your room with a simple change of cover. It’s worth remembering that our Song and Marnie covers are completely interchangeable, so there is no need to swap out cushions if you decide you absolutely must have piped edges for one or all of your Song pieces.
Our Skirt & Leg Options
Personalise your furniture to be an extension of your style with our bespoke skirt and leg options. Our elegant skirts come in two different lengths so that you can create a unique look to suit your scheme. We offer a shorter skirt for a more informal look that reveals both the sofa leg and flooring underneath. For those who love making an impact, there's our dramatic full-length skirt, with the fabric falling all the way to the floor. Maker&Son loves constantly evolving details and our range of furniture legs is no exception. From our classic Standard beech leg, to a new selection of beautifully crafted oak and walnut designs, there’s something unique for all. Speak to our team about our exciting bespoke options to create a truly personalised sofa.

Our striking brass castor is a contemporary reinterpretation of a British classic leg and comes in either walnut or oak.
Deposit Plan
Our Deposit Plan allows you to make partial payments, by placing an initial deposit of 50% of the total purchase price. Providing this deposit enables us to begin production, and enables you to begin planning for the arrival of your new furniture. From the date of deposit, you should expect delivery of standard furniture within 8 weeks, and bespoke furniture within 12 weeks.
